About us
Why a federation — and why like this.
The Agrya Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation of India — ABJJF India — is a Section 8 non-profit founded in 2026 to give Indian jiu-jitsu what it never had: verified ranks, honest rankings, and programs that open the mat to everyone.
We were started by practitioners from the De La Riva lineage — led by founder Prof. Binish Sukhija (Black Belt) — on a belief carried from the mats of Defence Colony: the art grows fastest where it is kindest.
