This document is an electronic record in terms of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules thereunder as applicable, and the amended provisions pertaining to electronic records. It is generated by a computer system and does not require any physical or digital signature.

This document is published in accordance with Rule 3(1) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines) Rules, 2011, which requires the publishing of the rules and regulations, privacy policy and terms of use for access or usage of https://www.abjjfi.com (the “Website” or “Platform”).

The Platform is owned and operated by Agrya Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation of India (“ABJJF India”, “we”, “us”, “our”), a Section 8 non-profit company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013, with its registered office at A-269, Second Floor, Defence Colony, New Delhi 110024. By using the Platform you accept these terms.

What we offer, and what it costs

The federation offers the following through this Platform, each for a fee shown in Indian Rupees (₹) on the relevant page before you pay:

• Annual federation membership, which runs for one year from the day it is bought.
• Seats at seminars, courses and referee certification.
• Entry to tournaments and team events.
• Federation merchandise, when the shop is open.

The price you are shown before you confirm is the price you pay; we never add a charge after the fact. The site also provides information about the federation, publishes articles, and lets you create a member account and hold a verified rank record — those are free.

Your account

• You must be 18 or over to create an account. Children cannot be registered on this site yet.
• Tell us the truth. Give your real name and your real date of birth — a federation record built on false details is worthless, and we will remove accounts that carry them.
• Your belt rank is recorded as CLAIMED and is not verified. Do not represent it as a verified ABJJF rank, because it is not one. Rank verification comes later.
• Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• One person, one account.
• We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or our code of conduct.

You can delete your account at any time by writing to info@abjjfi.com, and we will remove it.

Articles you submit to us

• You must have written the article yourself. Do not send us anyone else’s work.
• By submitting, you give us permission to edit it lightly for clarity and to publish it on this site with your name as the byline. You keep the copyright in your own words.
• You can ask us to take your article down at any time by writing to us.
• We review every submission before publishing. We are under no obligation to publish anything, and we may decline without giving a reason.

Conduct

Kindness over toughness applies in writing as it does on the mat. We will not publish, and may remove, content that names and attacks another athlete, coach or academy; that harasses or demeans anyone; that is false; or that puts a child at risk.

Accuracy

We try to keep the information on this site correct and current, but we do not guarantee it is free of errors. Seminar dates, fees and program details can change. Confirm with us before relying on them.

Liability

Jiu-jitsu is a contact sport carrying real risk of injury. Nothing on this website is medical, legal or training advice, and we are not liable for injury or loss arising from your training. Training happens at academies, under their supervision and their insurance — not ours.

Paying us

• All prices are in Indian Rupees (₹) and are shown before you confirm. We accept payment only through our payment gateway, on its secure page.
• We never see or store your card number, CVV, PIN, OTP or UPI PIN, and nobody from the federation will ever ask you for them. If someone does, it is not us — tell us at once.
• A purchase is confirmed only when the gateway tells us the payment succeeded. Until then nothing is reserved.
• If money leaves your account but no confirmation arrives, write to us with the gateway reference and we will trace it and either honour the purchase or refund it.
• Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy; delivery by our Shipping & Delivery Policy.
• You are responsible for the details you enter. A payment made from a card or account that is not yours, or without its holder’s permission, is fraud and we will report it.

Grievances

If something goes wrong, tell us: our Grievance Officer is Ms. Karneet Kaur, at grievances@abjjfi.com. We acknowledge within 24 hours and resolve within 15 days. See the Grievance Redressal policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, and the courts at New Delhi have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
