Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how you can cancel, or seek a refund for, anything you have bought from ABJJF India through https://www.abjjfi.com — a membership, a seminar seat, an event entry, or merchandise. To request a cancellation or refund, write to info@abjjfi.com with your order or registration number.

Membership

• A membership can be cancelled within 7 days of purchase for a full refund, provided you have not used it to enter an event.
• After 7 days, or once it has been used to enter an event, a membership is non-refundable — it runs for a year from the day it is bought.

Events, tournaments and seminars

• Cancel more than 21 days before the event: full refund, less payment-gateway charges.
• Cancel between 7 and 21 days before: 50% refund.
• Cancel less than 7 days before: no refund, because brackets, mats, medals and staffing are already committed.
• If we cancel or postpone an event: you get a full refund, or a credit for the rescheduled date — your choice.
• Medical withdrawal with a doctor’s certificate: full refund at any point, at our discretion.

Merchandise

• Returns accepted within 7 days of delivery if the item is unused, unwashed and in its original packaging.
• Wrong or defective items: we pay return shipping and replace or refund in full.
• Belts and gis that have been worn on the mat cannot be returned for hygiene reasons.

Digital goods (instructionals, downloads)

• Non-refundable once accessed or downloaded, because they cannot be returned.
• If a download fails or is faulty, we will fix it or refund it.

How and when refunds are paid

An approved refund goes back to the ORIGINAL payment method — the same card, account or UPI ID you paid from. We do not refund to a different account, and we never ask you for your card number, PIN, OTP or password in order to refund you. Anyone who does is not us.

• We decide and reply within 3 working days.
• Approved refunds are issued within 7 working days, and typically reach your account within 5–7 working days after that, depending on your bank.
