Indian law requires us to name a person who takes complaints and to say how fast we answer. Here they are.

The Grievance Officer

  • Name: Ms. Karneet Kaur
  • Email: grievances@abjjfi.com
  • Post: ABJJF India, A-269, Second Floor, Defence Colony, New Delhi 110024

This is a named human being, not a ticketing system. Complaints are read by a person.

What you can complain about

  • How we have handled your personal data, including a request to see, correct or delete it.
  • Content on this site — including an article you believe is false, harmful, or infringes your rights.
  • The conduct of an ABJJF official, coach or athlete at a federation event.
  • A decision the federation has made that affects you.

For anything concerning the safety of a child, use the reporting route in our Child Protection & Safe Sport policy, which is faster.

How quickly we respond

  • We acknowledge every complaint within 48 hours of receiving it.
  • We aim to resolve it within 15 days, and we will resolve it within 30 days at the outside.
  • If it will take longer, we will tell you why and give you a date.
  • We tell you the outcome and the reasons for it in writing.

If we do not satisfy you

If your complaint concerns personal data and you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate it to the Data Protection Board of India under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Telling you this is not a formality — it is your right, and we would rather you knew about it.
