Teams of three, submission only. The winner stays on the mat until somebody submits them. Run in-house at Knots & Collar — medals awarded, no national ranking points.
There are no weight classes and no belt divisions here — every squad enters the same bracket. A verified profile is still required to register, because every athlete on a roster has to be a real member who is genuinely 18 or over.

What this event is
It is an in-house event
Run at Knots & Collar, open to adult members. It is the federation’s first team event on its new platform — competitive, but a Sunday morning among people who train together rather than a championship.
Medals are real. Ranking points are not.
Gold, silver and bronze are awarded and go on your record. This event carries no national ranking points at all — that is deliberate, and it is why we can try a new format here.
Teams of three, and there is no weight class
You may be drawn against somebody heavier than you. That is the format, and it is the reason we are running it in-house first. If that is not for you, this is the event to sit out.
Submission only. No points at all
Nothing is scored for position, and there are no advantages. Submission attempts are counted, and they are what separates a bout that nobody finished.

How a bout is won
Teams fight one athlete at a time and the winner stays on the mat. A team is beaten when every one of its athletes has been eliminated. Each bout is decided by working down this list, in order — the first rule that separates the two athletes ends it.
- 1Submission — ends the bout the instant it happens.
- 2No submission — MOST SUBMISSION ATTEMPTS survives. The referee signals each attempt as it happens.
- 3Still level — the referee’s call. It is final; there is no challenge.
If a tie ends level
If a whole tie ends level — every athlete eliminated on both sides — it is won by total submission attempts across the tie. Only if the two teams are level on that as well does the referee decide.
